Great show but poor choice of edible refreshments
Our two grandchildren aged 10 and 8 thoroughly enjoyed the Railway Children with us. The thrill of seeing a large steam engine coming into the middle of the theatre was wonderful. We would recommend this as splendid family entertainment.
This was really a great show ! The staging and the setting were amazing, congratulations to the actors and the stage director !
Thoroughly enjoyable. Very clever set design to create scene changes. Also liked the way the actors came on and mingled with the audience before the show started.
Amazing set and brilliant experience
Delightful. A wholesome family experience put everyone in a good mood.
Our family loved it. In retrospect I would have encouraged our daughter to watch the film first - as she didn't always understand the storyline from the play alone (she's 8). That said - a little commentary from me carried her along and she loved the live acting.
This is a beloved story in our family come to life. We would have gladly come to see this production over and over if we could. The actors/actresses were fantastic. The train and stage drew us right in to another time and place. We have returned Alaska and our boys are still raving about The Railway Children!!
great entertainment ! we all loved it !
An excellent production. Brilliant acting and scenery changing. Lovely to see a real train.
This was a brilliant performance would go again tomorrow to see it all again. The setting was perfect enhancing it even more. Well done I'd give it 10 stars if I could

All Aboard! Why The Railway Children Will Never Get Old
As a commuter, I spend several hours a day on trains. They tend to be hot, crowded and a bit smelly, not to mention usually running late. So it's fair to say I'm not a fan of the railway. But that all changed for two hours the other day, when I went to see The Railway Children at King's Cross Theatre.
