CHICAGO, the "sexiest musical ever" (Metro), is back at the Churchill Theatre Bromley for one week only starring Coronation Street's Faye Brookes (Dancing on Ice, Grease, Legally Blonde) as Roxie Hart, international recording artist and pop star Sinitta as Matron ‘Mama’ Morton, West End and TV star Darren Day (Joseph, We WIll Rock You, Doctors, Celebrity Big Brother) as Billy Flynn, and West End stars Djalenga Scott (Annie, Chicago, West Side Story) as Velma Kelly and Joel Montague (Waitress, Fat Friends, School of Rock) as Amos Hart.
Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today’s tabloid.

Love Island presenter Caroline Flack will be the next and final Roxie Hart in Chicago, it has been confirmed. She will join the previously announced Todrick Hall as Billy Flynn.
Kander and Ebb’s Chicago is now playing at the Phoenix Theatre until 5 January 2019.

YouTube sensation and star of RuPaul’s Drag Race Todrick Hall has been confirmed to be starring in the West End revival of Chicago as the next Billy Flynn. The Kander and Ebb musical is currently running at the Phoenix Theatre to rave reviews.

Backed by popular demand, Alexandra Burke and Duncan James are set to extend their runs in the West End revival of Chicago The Musical. The razzle-dazzle, award-winning show opened at the Phoenix Theatre back in April with Cuba Gooding Jr as the headlining star. It is currently booking until 5 January 2019.

Following the misfortunate news that Denis van Outen was forced to pull out of Chicago due to an injury discovered at rehearsals, it has been announced today that the role of Velma Kelly will be filled by Laura Tyrer, who will join the West End production next week. Her audition for the part will also be broadcast on national television.

An unexpected injury prior to rehearsals has forced Denise van Outen to pull out from the West End production of Chicago. The Essex-born actress, who played Roxie Hart in the 2001 West End production, was originally scheduled to return to the show as Velma Kelly from 24 September to 17 November.

It has just been announced that Denise van Outen will be returning to famed Kander and Ebb musical Chicago this month. The English actress originally portrayed Roxie Hart for the 2001 West End production at the Adelphi, before crossing the pond to play the same role on Broadway in 2002. She returned to the London production that the same year and now she's come back for more!

Duncan James will join the West End cast of Chicago at the Phoenix Theatre starting 10 September. He will be joining pop star Alexandra Burke as Roxie Hart, Josefina Gabrielle as Velma Kelly, Mazz Murray as Mama Morton and Paul Rider as Amos Hart. Chicago is scheduled to play in the West End through 5 January 2019.

The West End revival of Chicago, which is now playing at the Phoenix Theatre to much critical acclaim, has just announced that multi-platinum-selling singer and actress Alexandra Burke will be starring as the new Roxie Hart next month. She had it coming! It has just been announced that Mazz Murray will be replacing Ruthie Henshall in the London revival of Chicago. The news comes after Martin Kemp was recently cast as the next Billy Flynn, replacing Cuba Gooding Jr after his contract ends on 30 June 2018. Also due to popular demand, the booking period for Chicago has been extended.
