Albemarle of London is an official London theatre agency. Basil Chritchley formed it in the early sixties, to offer a theatre ticket booking service based on personal, individual attention to customers.

Undoubtedly, this element was an important factor in the instant success and dynamic growth of the company; from lowly beginnings of virtually a desk and one telephone in offices in Albemarle Street, London (hence the name) the business rapidly expanded and today we enjoy the enviable position of the leading ticket agency of this type.

Today the emphasis is still on personal service and our staff are dedicated to developing and maintaining individual relationships with our clients who number many international countries, over 1500 travel agencies, most West End Hotels and valued private customers.

The hub of our enterprise is in New Oxford Street, on the top floor of Medius House, where we employ over 30 fully trained and highly competent members of staff. We are also the very proud holders of Theatre Ticket Desk leases in the following premier London hotels: The Dorchester, Claridges, Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill, The Four Seasons and Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel.

We have recently developed our own specialist in-house computer-based booking system, which has simplified the booking process immensely.

Using the most modern technology available, this pioneering software allows us to offer our renowned high quality and personal service via a fast and highly accurate computerised reservation system.Given the opportunity, we feel sure that we will prove our service to be second to none.
