After 600 West End performances to date, Kinky Boots, the huge-hearted, high-heeled hit, has announced the opening of a new booking period until Saturday 30 September 2017. Tickets for this extended period are now on sale.

Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre has become a favourite with UK theatregoers having won every major Best Musical award. The show has won three Olivier Awards for Best New Musical, Best Costume Design and Best Actor in a Musical for Matt Henry who plays Lola. It also won the London Evening Standard BBC Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical, as well as three WhatsOnStage Awards for Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical for Matt Henry, and Best Choreography.

KINKY BOOTS EXTENDS TO 2017 (13 APRIL 2016)

Kinky Boots, the huge-hearted, high-heeled hit, has this week announced the opening of a new booking period until Saturday 14 January. Since winning the 2016 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Kinky Boots is now the winner of every major Best Musical award. Tickets for this extended period are now on sale.

The show has become a favourite with UK theatregoers having won three Olivier Awards for Best New Musical, Best Costume Design and Best Actor in a Musical for Matt Henry who plays Lola. The Tony Award-winning Best Musical Kinky Boots has announced its booking extension to 28 May 2016.

The musical comedy, which features music and lyrics by Tony and two-time Grammy Award winner Cyndi Lauper, opened in September to rave reviews. Described as "Dazzling, fabulously sassy and uplifting" by Time Out, it stars Killian Donnelly (Memphis, The Commitments) and Matt Henry (Avenue Q, Saturday Night Fever) as the lead characters Charlie and Lola.

Kinky Boots takes you from the factory floor to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Charlie Price is struggling to live up to his father's expectations and continue the family business of Price & Son. With the shoe factory's future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos.



CASTING ANNOUNCED FOR KINKY BOOTS (24 APRIL 2015)

Casting for the UK premiere of Kinky Boots, Broadway's huge-hearted, high-heeled hit, has been announced today. Killian Donnelly and Matt Henry will portray the central characters Charlie and Lola at the heart of the story, and joining them are Amy Lennox (Lauren), Jamie Baughan (Don), Amy Ross (Nicola) and Michael Hobbs (George). Kinky Boots will open at London's Adelphi Theatre on 15 September 2015, with previews from 21 August.

Killian Donnelly is currently playing Huey Calhoun in Memphis The Musical, and has recently starred in The Commitments at the Palace Theatre. Matt Henry recorded an album in 2014 after appearing as a finalist on Series 2 of The Voice. His theatre credits include The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas, The Frontline (Shakespeare's Globe) and Miss Saigon.

Director and choreographer, Jerry Mitchell said: "Casting the entire London company of Kinky Boots has been an amazing and energizing experience; each character has a true individual significance in this show and that makes it so special. We are delighted to have found our Lola and Charlie in the hugely talented Matt Henry and Killian Donnelly. Both gentlemen will bring effortless charm and sensational voices to the show. I am really looking forward to working with all my wonderful cast on Kinky Boots, which will be my 7th production in the West End."
